Anthony Folorunso Aregbe is a Legal Practitioner, Notary Public for Nigeria Public Affairs Analyst and an Astute Litigator, called to the Nigerian Bar on 13th November, 2007, having graduated from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State with a Second Class Upper Division in 2006. He is currently the Lead Partner and Founder of Messrs Aregbe and Company, a registered firm of Legal Practitioners and Tax Consultants, with its specialized areas of practice in commercial litigation, debt recovery, arbitration and Tax Practice.

He commenced his active legal career at the Estate & Trust Department of the Ministry of Justice, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, where he undertook his mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC) between 2007 and 2008. He worked and undertook legal researches directly for the office of the Director, particularly in areas of administration of Estate, Issue of Public Trustees and Land Litigation arising from trust.

Upon completion of his NYSC programme, he was admitted to employment in the Chambers of Niyi Idowu, Esq where he was exposed to the rudiment of general civil litigation. He then moved to AOS Practice, a firm of legal Practitioner, wherein he cut his teeth in specialized areas of law to wit: debt recovery proceedings, commercial and Land Litigation. He moved to the Chambers of Lanre Oyetunji where he worked till 2011. He later joined the practice of Messrs Layi Babatunde (SAN) & Co in 2011 where, as a result of his diligence and hard commitment to litigation, he was often assigned to conduct litigation proceedings within and outside jurisdiction.

Anthony Aregbe has consistent passion for litigation and dispute resolution, and he has been able to gather considerable experience in civil and commercial litigation since his call to the Nigerian bar in 2007. He has conducted cases at the State High Court, Federal High Court, National Industrial Court and the Court of Appeal; including Supreme Court of Nigeria wherein he handled and he is still handling considerable number of cases. He is fully grounded with appellate procedures of the Court of Appeal & Supreme Court having handled and completed some appeals.

Anthony Aregbe is, by the grace of God, the Lead Partner of Messrs Aregbe & Company (MAC), a renowned commercial law firm with practice base in Lagos. MAC is a full service commercial & dispute resolution law firm, with global best practises.

His idea of starting up a registered practice was predicated on his practice exposure and broader spectrum covering diverse areas of commercial law which also cut across several jurisdictions within Nigeria.

He is happily married to Mrs. Oluwatoyin Aregbe and they are blessed with children.
